While there, he employed a young German chef called Gisela - who had a pet cockatoo called Henry. While she worked at Davvyd's, she would bring Henry in to entertain the staff.
It seemed a natural step for Davvyd to adopt Henry when Gisela returned to Germany. And so the partnership began.
